After his time with the NFL, he tried to sign for CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers but was injured and unable to play. His drug abuse worsened and he was at that time using heroin. He spent time in more than one jail. In 1999, the Chicago Bears and the San Diego Chargers showed an interest in signing Marinovich but he was unable to pass his physical. That's when he signed, instead, with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. His substance abuse became even worse and he decided not to stay with the BC Lions.

Doping Violation

In January 2019, Dillashaw tested positive for EPO prior to a flyweight title fight against Henry Cejudo. He was subsequently suspended for two years by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. Dillashaw has since apologized for his actions, and has said that he is committed to staying clean in the future.

• Renan Barão (UFC 173, May 24, 2014): Dillashaw upset the undefeated Renan Barão to win the UFC bantamweight championship. Dillashaw used his wrestling to control Barão on the ground, and landed several big punches and kicks to the head. Barão was never able to get his offense going, and Dillashaw won by unanimous decision.
• Dominick Cruz (UFC Fight Night 81, January 17, 2016): Dillashaw lost the UFC bantamweight championship to Dominick Cruz in a close and controversial fight. Cruz was the better wrestler in the fight, and he was able to control Dillashaw on the ground for long stretches. Dillashaw landed some big punches in the later rounds, but it wasn't enough to win the fight. Cruz won by split decision.
• Cody Garbrandt (UFC 207, December 30, 2017): Dillashaw regained the UFC bantamweight championship with a victory over Cody Garbrandt. The fight was very exciting, and both fighters were knocked down multiple times. Dillashaw won by third-round knockout.
• Henry Cejudo (UFC Fight Night 143, January 19, 2019): Dillashaw lost the UFC bantamweight championship to Henry Cejudo in a flyweight title fight. Dillashaw was the bigger and stronger fighter, but Cejudo was the better wrestler. Cejudo won by third-round TKO.

Lando Norris is a British-Belgian racing driving who has a net worth of $30 million. Lando Norris competes for the British motor racing team McLaren Racing Limited in Formula One. In 2015, Norris won the MSA Formula championship, and the following year, he won the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, and Toyota Racing Series. In 2017, Lando joined the McLaren Young Driver Programme and won the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, resulting in a promotion to the Formula 2 Carlin team. In 2018, he became a McLaren driver, and two years later, he achieved his first Formula One podium at the Austrian Grand Prix. Early Life

Lando Norris was born on November 13, 1999, in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Lando's father, Adam, a retired pensions manager, is one of the wealthiest people in Bristol, and as of 2018, he was the 501st-richest person in England. Norris' mother, Cisca, is from Belgium. Lando holds dual citizenship between England and Belgium, and he has two younger sisters, Cisca and Flo, and an older brother named Oliver who competed in karting until 2014. As a child, Norris tried horse riding, motorcycle riding, and quad biking, and when he was 7 years old, his father took him to the British Karting Championships, sparking Lando's interest in the sport. Norris attended Somerset's Millfield School, and though he left before taking his GCSEs, he studied math and physics with a full-time tutor. His family moved to Glastonbury so Lando could pursue a racing career, and he lived near the McLaren headquarters before moving to Monaco in 2022.

Career

Norris' karting career began at the age of 7, and when he competed in his first national event, he claimed pole position. He competed in KF-Junior karting in 2013 and won the CIK FIA European Championship, WSK Euro Series, and International Super Cup. Lando won the 2014 CIK-FIA KF World Championship, becoming the youngest karting world champion. His car racing debut took place at the 2014 Ginetta Junior Championship, and he finished in third place and received the Rookie Cup. After signing with Carlin Motorsport, Norris won the 2015 MSA Formula Championship, and in 2016, he won the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 2.0 NEC with Josef Kaufmann Racing and the Toyota Racing Series with M2 Competition. With Carlin, Lando won the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship and came in second at the 2017 Macau Grand Prix and 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship.

In February 2017, Norris signed with McLaren Racing Limited as a junior driver, and he officially became a McLaren test and reserve driver at the end of the year. Personal Life

Lando dated model Luisinha Oliveira from August 2021 to September 2022. He has said that he and Oliveira received death threats and abuse from internet trolls, telling "The Sun" in 2022, "Whether it's about my personal life, me and my girlfriend, especially the amount of hate pages dedicated to Luisinha now. It is pretty horrific." Norris added, "What I find the funniest in a way is people are actually spending their one life on Earth just sat behind a computer trying to ruin and bully someone. When people are creating fake pages and fake chats, and fake WhatsApp messages, then I am like, 'You're actually spending your life doing that?' They're wasting their life." In July 2021, Lando was mugged outside Wembley Stadium after attending the Euro final. The two muggers stole Norris' £40,000 watch.

In March 2020, Lando raised $12,000 for the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund after promising to shave his head if his fans donated at least $10,000. During a 2021 interview on ITV's "This Morning," Norris spoke about dealing with depression as a Formula One rookie. He stated, "What's the outcome of all of this? Am I going to be in Formula One next year, if I'm not? What am I going to do because I'm not really good at many other things in life? So, just all of that, and then just feeling depressed a lot of the time that if I have a bad weekend, I just think I'm not good enough and things like that." Collegiate Career

After a freshman season that was truncated due to a broken ankle, Worthy helped the Tar Heels to a runner-up finish in the NCAA tournament in 1981. He took the team all the way the following year, winning the 1982 NCAA championship title alongside such fellow future NBA stars as Michael Jordan and Sam Perkins. Worthy was named the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player. Due to his success, he chose to forgo his senior year at UNC and enter the NBA draft.

Los Angeles Lakers

In the 1982 NBA draft, Worthy was chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers. He had an impressive rookie season with the team, averaging 13.4 points per game and posting a .579 field goal percentage, a record for a Lakers rookie. Worthy quickly became renowned for his speed and spectacular "Statue of Liberty" dunks. However, his season ended prematurely in April due to a broken leg. Worthy came back strong for the 1983-84 season to help the Lakers advance to the NBA Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Boston Celtics in seven games. The team faced off against the Celtics again in the 1985 NBA Finals, this time emerging victorious in six games. Although the Lakers narrowly missed the Finals in 1986, Worthy earned his first of seven consecutive All-Star selections. The next season was among the Lakers' best, as the team posted a 65-17 record en route to another NBA championship title, once again by beating the Celtics in six games. Worthy dominated the playoffs that year, leading the Lakers with 23.6 points per game.

In the 1987-88 regular season, Worthy averaged 19.7 points per game and scored a career-high 38 points against the Atlanta Hawks. He once again led the Lakers in scoring in the playoffs, culminating in an NBA Finals appearance against the Detroit Pistons. The Lakers went on to defeat the Pistons in seven games, giving Worthy his third NBA championship title; moreover, he was named the NBA Finals MVP. In 1989, the Lakers and the Pistons faced off in an NBA Finals rematch, but this time the Pistons won in a sweep despite the incredible performance of Worthy, who recorded a career-high 40 points in the fourth and final game. The next season, the Lakers led the NBA with a 63-19 record, but fell to the Phoenix Suns in the Conference semifinals. Worthy led the team back to the NBA Finals in 1991, but struggled with an ankle injury as the Chicago Bulls won the championship in five games. Unfortunately, that injury marked the beginning of the end of his playing career, as further injuries over the subsequent years robbed him of his speed and leaping ability. In late 1994, Worthy announced his retirement after 12 seasons in the NBA.

Post-NBA Playing Career

After retiring from professional playing, Worthy became a studio basketball analyst for Time Warner Cable SportsNet, as well as a cohost on the network's "Access SportsNet" pregame and postgame shows. Additionally, he served as an NBA analyst on Los Angeles's KCBS-TV. In 2015, Worthy was hired by his former team the Lakers to work with the coaching staff.

Personal Life

In 1984, Worthy wed Angela Wilder; they had first met in 1981 at UNC, where Wilder was a cheerleader for the Tar Heels. The pair had two daughters before divorcing in 1996.

Worthy has run into some legal trouble. In late 1990, he was arrested in Houston, Texas during a sting operation and was charged with two counts of solicitation and prostitution. On top of a year of probation, Worthy was fined $1,000 and ordered to do 40 hours of community service.

Real Estate

In 1997 James bought a relatively modest home in Bel Air, Los Angeles for $945,000. He sold the house in 2015 for a little over $2 million.
