What Is Stavros Niarchos III's Net Worth?

Stavros Niarchos III is a Greek professional kiteboarder and the heir to the Niarchos shipping fortune who has a net worth of $120 million. Stavros Niarchos III is the oldest grandchild born to Stavros Niarchos, who founded a massive shipping empire based in Greece. Stavros Niarchos I was the man who built the first supertankers, and the family fortune was largely built on his ships' popularity with the oil industry. The younger Mr. Niarchos became known for a string of high-profile relationships with celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Mary-Kate Olsen.

Early Life

Stavros Niarchos III was born on April 17, 1985, in New York City. Stavros primarily grew up in Paris, France, where he attended the Catholic private school College Stanislas de Paris. Niarchos spent his last year of high school at the prestigious prep school Seabury Hall in Maui, Hawaii, and he graduated from the University of Southern California Film School. Stavros is the son of Philip Niarchos and Victoria Guinness, and he has three siblings, Eugenie, Theodorakis, and Electra. Philip is the son of billionaire shipping tycoon Stavros Spyrou Niarchos and Eugenia Livanos, and Victoria is a member of the Guinness beer family.

Career

The Niarchos family runs the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which is described as "one of the world's leading private, international philanthropic organizations, making grants to nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and sports, and social welfare." The foundation was established in 1996 after Stavros Spyrou Niarchos died at the age of 86. The younger Stavros Niarchos funded Paddle8, an online art auction house, with gallerist David Zwirner, artist Damien Hirst, Jay Jopling of White Cube Gallery, and the venture capitalist firms Mousse Partners and Founder Collective. According to a 2015 "Forbes" article, Paddle8 was initially "seen as a virtual Christie's for contemporary art," then it expanded to include fashion accessories, movie memorabilia, and more. In 2014, Paddle8's sales revenue (more than $35 million) increased 146% over the previous year.

In January 2020, they had a larger wedding ceremony in Switzerland that was attended by 300 guests, including Kate Hudson, Orlando Bloom, Gayle King, and Princess Beatrice. Niarchos and Zhukova welcomed son Philip Stavros Niarchos in March 2021, and Stavros is stepfather to Dasha's two children from her marriage to Russian businessman Roman Abramovich. Dasha is the co-founder of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow and the founder of "Garage Magazine," and she is the daughter of oil trader Alexander Zhukov and molecular biologist Yelena Zhukova. Before marrying Zhukova, Niarchos previously dated socialite Paris Hilton, actresses Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen, and model Jessica Hart.

What is Wee Man's Net Worth and Salary?

Wee Man is an American TV host and actor who has a net worth of $8 million dollars. He is one of the stars of Jackass on MTV and the host of Fox Sports Net's skateboarding show 54321. Wee Man, as Jason is known, is also a professional skateboarder. He became a household name when he appeared in MTV's highly popular Jackass television series and films.

Early Life

Wee Man was born Jason Shannon Acuña on May 16, 1973 in Pisa, Italy and grew up in Torrance, California. He attended North High School.  Acuña has achondroplasia, a form of a genetic disorder which causes dwarfism. His short stature, however, did not hinder his skateboarding career in any way. Due to his upbringing in a military family, Acuna has done numerous charitable tours with the USO.

Jackass

Acuna's first job was as a subscription manager for the skateboard magazine "Big Brother." That job led to his involvement with the "Jackass" TV series on MTV in 2002. "Jackass" was a comedy reality series in which the main stars would perform stunts and pull pranks on each other and other guests. Some of Acuna's most memorable stunts involved skating while dressed as an Oompa Loompa, kicking himself in the head, rolling co-star Johnny Knoxville down a staircase in a red carpet, doing deep knee bends while holding Shaquille O'Neal on his back, and more.

To date, Wee Man has appeared in four film versions of Jackass, including 2022's "Jackass Forever.

Jackass Salary

Jason appeared in 16 of the television show's original 25 episodes over three seasons between 2000 and 2002. For the TV show, each cast member was paid per stunt. The amount of pay for a basic stunt ranged from $500 to $700.

For the first "Jackass" film, the primary players like Wee Man were paid "above $20,000 but below $100,000," as he recalled to a New York Times interviewer in 2022.

Other Work

He had a cameo appearance in the movie "Grind" and made guest appearances in the TV show "Wildboyz." He is also a playable character in skateboarding video games Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. In 2007, Acuña was featured in the CBS reality TV series "Armed and Famous," together with five other celebrities such as Erik Estrada and Jack Osbourne. The show followed the celebrities as they trained to become reserve police officers for the Muncie, Indiana police department. He also appeared on another MTV show "Scarred Live."

Acuña was cast as one of the contestants in the NBC reality show Celebrity Circus, which features six celebrities who learn the ropes of circus life, including mastering death-defying stunts with high wires, flying trapezes and fire dancing. The contestants then face a panel of judges for critique. As Jackass is known to show and make fun of its star's failed stunts, Acuña said that Celebrity Circus is very different. He also said he couldn't decide which hurt more, but he described the experience as "painful" and "crazy." In the fourth week of competition on the show, Acuna became the first contestant to receive a perfect score out of a ten-point average. He ended the season in third place. Acuña has also released his own DVD called American Misfits. In 2012, he starred in the direct to video holiday film "Elf Man" as the main character, his first role in a family-friendly feature film. He is writing and is set to appear in a feature film in "Jackass Forever," slated to come out in October 2021.

Real Estate and Van Life

In September 2018, Jason sold his home in Hermosa Beach, California for $2.37 million. A few months later he announced he was choosing to live in a newly-purchased Mercedes bus van. He explained his move to a van by saying:

"'I realize the more shit you have the more issues you have. I wanted to be on the road. I love traveling. I needed a change in my life. I straight said fuck it. I'm gonna get a van, I'm gonna live in it. I'm gonna do what I want."

Taco Restaurant Investment

In 2010 Jason invested in a chain of fast-casual Mexican restaurants called Chronic Tacos. For many years he operated a location in his hometown of Hermosa Beach but in 2018 he closed that location and moved to Long Beach, California.

What was Ryan Dunn's Net Worth?

Ryan Dunn was an American actor, television personality and stunt man who had a net worth of $6 million at the time of his death in 2011. Ryan Dunn was best known as one of the stars of MTV's reality stunt show "Jackass." Before this, he rose to fame in the late 90s as a member of the CKY Crew, a collective of stunt and prank performers led by Bam Margera. Dunn later hosted the reality television series "Homewrecker" and "Proving Ground," and appeared in films including "Street Dreams" and "Living Will" before dying in a car crash in 2011.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Ryan Dunn was born in 1977 in Medina, Ohio, and grew up in Williamsville, New York. Later, he moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he attended West Chester East High School. It was at school where Dunn met Bam Margera, with whom he would become close friends and colleagues. Together, along with friends and relatives of Margera, they were part of a group called the Camp Kill Yourself crew, also known as the CKY crew. Showcasing a variety of extreme stunts and pranks, the crew led to the rise of "Jackass" in the early 2000s.

Jackass

In 2000, Dunn made his television debut on the MTV reality series "Jackass," which featured frequently dangerous and gross stunts carried out by a cast of ten. In addition to Dunn, the show included Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Brandon DiCamillo, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey, and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña. "Jackass" ran for three seasons between 2000 and 2002, and spawned a franchise including five feature films. The first, "Jackass: The Movie," was a significant box-office success, grossing around $79 million on a budget of $5 million. This was followed by "Jackass Number Two" in 2006 and "Jackass 3D" in 2010. The latter is the last "Jackass" film to feature Dunn, who died a year later.

Television Career

Outside of "Jackass," Dunn made numerous appearances as himself on various television shows. He was featured in an episode of "MTV Cribs" in 2002, and from 2003 to 2006, participated in Bam Margera's "Jackass" spinoff show "Viva La Bam." During this time, Dunn also served as the host of the short-lived reality show "Homewrecker," a twist on home renovation shows where the room is wrecked instead of remade. Following this, Dunn was on the British celebrity reality show "Commando VIP" and the MTV reality series "Bam's Unholy Union," which centered on the wedding preparations of Margera and his fiancée Missy Rothstein.

Among Dunn's later television credits were the puppet comedy "Crank Yankers," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and the game show "Minute to Win It." In 2011, along with video game journalist Jessica Chobot, he began hosting the reality series "Proving Ground" on the G4 network. On the show, which made its premiere only days before his passing, Dunn worked with Chobot to see if concepts from pop culture could be replicated in the real world.

Film Career

In 2003, Dunn had one of his biggest film roles in the independent comedy "Haggard: The Movie." Directed by Bam Margera, it focused on Dunn and the possibility of his girlfriend's infidelity. Later, in 2006, Dunn appeared as himself in "The Dudesons Movie," starring the eponymous Finnish four-man stunt group. Following this, he was in the romcom "Blonde Ambition," which starred Jessica Simpson as a small-town girl who becomes a businesswoman in New York City. Other actors in the film include Luke Wilson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Penelope Ann Miller, and Andy Dick.

Dunn had a leading role in the 2009 skateboarding film "Street Dreams," playing a member of a group of Chicago friends played by Paul Rodriguez, Terry Kennedy, and Rob Dyrdek. Also in 2009, Dunn starred in Bam Margera's "Minghags: The Movie." Following Dunn's death in 2011 were three posthumous releases: "Living Will," which he also produced, and "Booted" and "The Bates Haunting."

Personal Life and Death

While filming "Jackass Number Two" in 2006, Dunn severely injured his shoulder during one of his final stunts, causing muscle damage and a blood clot that were nearly life-threatening. During his treatment for both the injury and a case of Lyme disease, Dunn fell into a depression, and cut off contact with his friends and colleagues for almost two years.

In West Goshen Township in the summer of 2011, Dunn was driving home from a bar with production assistant Zachary Hartwell when he veered off the road and struck a tree, causing the car to burst into flames. Both men were killed in the crash. A subsequent toxicology report revealed Dunn's blood alcohol level to be over twice the state's legal limit. Earlier, in 2005, Dunn had been convicted of driving under the influence, and was sent to a first offender's treatment program as part of his sentence.

From 2002 until his passing, Dunn was in a relationship with actress Angie Cuturic.

Early Life

Sheckler was born on December 30th of 1989, in San Clemente, California. He has two younger brothers named Kane and Shane. Ryan was eighteen months old when he first found his father's skateboard. Afterward, he spent countless hours dedicated to mastering the sport. During his youth, Sheckler's father supported his son's passion, having built a custom skate park in their backyard for him to practice.

Ryan received his first sponsorship when he was seven years old from the Etnies shoe company.

Career

In 2003, Sheckler participated in the X Games summer and became the youngest gold medalist at 13 with his victory in the Skateboard Park event. That year, he also won competitions in the Vans Triple Crown, Gravity Games, and the Slam City Jam.

Ryan subsequently turned professional and joined the skateboard company Almost, founded by Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. In 2012, the Red Bull online series called the "Sheckler Sessions" was launched. Since then, Ryan has continued to participate in skateboarding competitions and numerous promotional videos and films. As of 2018, Sheckler holds sponsorships with Etnies, Plan B, Oakley, Red Bull, Ethika, and Melin.

He also earns millions thanks to endorsement deals with companies including, Nike, Mountain Dew, Doritos and Monster Energy. Known as one of the most influential skateboarders of all time, Nyjah has certainly made an impact on the sport. When he made his first appearance at the X Games in 2006, he was the youngest athlete to ever compete. Nyjah has also appeared in several Tony Hawk video games such as Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Tony Hawk's Project 8 and Tony Hawk's Ride.

Early Life

Nyjah James Huston was born on November 30th of 1994 in Davis, California. Raised alongside four siblings in a Rastafarian, vegan household, Huston was home-schooled from an early age. Huston's father also encouraged Nyjah to skateboard and made sure that he practiced every single day from the age of five. Nyjah later admitted that his father was quite controlling.

After his parents purchased an indoor skatepark, Nyjah dedicated most of his waking hours to skateboarding. Having already been sponsored by the skateboard company Element by this point, Nyjah's sponsorship deals were ended when his father decided to relocate the entire family to Puerto Rico out of the blue. Eventually, Nyjah's mother divorced his father and won custody over Nyjah, allowing him to move back to California to resume his skateboarding career. Today, Huston no longer identifies as a Rastafarite.

Career

Nyjah's skateboarding career began at a young age, when he was sponsored by Element and subsequently appeared in many of their films. He then started to enter high-profile skateboarding contests. However, he was still an amateur skateboarder, and after he left the Element team he started his own company called I&I, which made skateboard decks.

After I&I flopped, Huston returned to Element and released a solo video. He also became sponsored by DC Shoes. By this point, Nyjah was a well-established skateboarder with a ton of exposure. His presence as one of the most exciting up-and-coming skateboarders was solidified when he won a gold medal at the 2013 X Games Street League contest. This also meant that he had won more prize money than any other skateboarder in history. As of 2020, Huston has won seven gold medals at various Summer X games.

Additional highlights include an infinity pool and expansive courtyards. In 2018, it was reported that Huston had sold this property for $3.22 million. That same year he purchased a home in Laguna Beach, for $3.6 million. He gave Architectural Digest a video tour of the home in December 2019:

An interesting side note is that his neighbors were practically jumping for joy after Huston sold his house in San Juan Capistrano. For years, Huston had been hosting loud and raucous parties that raged on throughout the night. The entire neighborhood became a hotspot for local teens who climbed through neighbors' yards just to sneak their way into Huston's mansion. Huston was charged with nine misdemeanor offenses, including disturbing the peace, public nuisance, and resisting a peace officer.

As of this writing, Rob owns three mansions within the gated Mulholland Estates high above Beverly Hills. He has spent nearly $25 million on these three homes alone. More info on each of these houses in a moment. First some Dyrdek real estate sales history –

  • In May 2008  Dyrdek spent $2.549 million for a home in the Mount Olympus neighborhood above Laurel Canyon that was sold in November 2012 for $2.125 million, a $334,000 loss.
  • In March 2013, after nearly five long years on and off the market at increasingly lower prices, he took a $220,000 loss on a mid-1960s multi-level modern in the Hollywood Knolls neighborhood near Lake Hollywood that he bought in 2005 for $1.395 million and sold for $1.175 million.
  • In 2016, Dyrdek sold his four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,733 square foot house in the Laurel Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles between Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon for $3.5 million.

Mulholland Estates

In 2015, Dyrdek spent $9.9 million on a vacant 3.1-acre lot in the exclusive gated community called the "Mullholland Estates". The lot is the largest property in the entire community. It was once owned by singer Robbie Williams, who apparently planned to custom-build his own megamansion but later changed his mind. Rob has reportedly filed plans with the city to build a mansion on the site.

Other celebrities who currently own property in the community include Kendall Jenner, Christina Aguilera, Vanna White, Paris Hilton, Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Mike Shinoda, Tracey Edmonds, and Charlie Sheen.

In 2018, Rob Dyrdek and his wife paid $6 million for a 4-bedroom, 7,000 square-foot mansion in the same community. They proceeded to perform extensive and expensive renovations.

In December 2019 Rob paid $8.5 million for a THIRD Mulholland Estates home. This third mansion is 7,500 square-feet and features 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms.

What is Tony Hawk's net worth?

Tony Hawk is a California-born professional skateboarder and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $140 million dollars. Tony Hawk is by far the most decorated and highest-earning professional skateboarder in history. Outside of earning tens of millions of dollars during his career from endorsements, tournament prizes, appearance fees and more, Tony has earned an enormous fortune thanks to his eponymous video game which has generated billions in revenue worldwide. He has been earning massive paychecks for decades. Even as a teenage skate star, he was earning over $100,000 per year between prizes and sponsorships. In high school, Tony made significantly more than his teachers. He bought his family a house when he was a senior in high school.

Early Life

Anthony Frank Hawk was born in San Diego, California on May 12, 1968, to Nancy and Frank Peter Rupert Hawk. His introduction to the world of skateboarding came when he was only eight years old, in the form of a used skateboard given to him by his older brother. His parents approved of the activity, as it gave him an outlet for his excessive energy. The "hyperactive" and "gifted" Hawk quickly discovered a knack for skateboarding, getting his first sponsor at age 12 from Dogtown Skateboards and turning professional at the incredibly young age of 14.

Career

At the age of 14, Hawk signed with the Powell Peralta professional team, going on to star in the popular Bones Brigade videos. Though Hawk was always seen as a premier street skater, it was important for him to prove his skills as a "vert" (vertical) skater, which he did throughout the 1980s and '90s. By the time he was 16, he was considered one of the top skateboarders in the world.

Hawk went on to dominate skateboarding competitions, reigning for 12 years in a row as the National Skateboard Association world champion, winning over 70 competitions over the years. He would also go on to invent many of the moves that are now standard in the sport, including the gymnast plant, the ollie-to-Indy, the Saran wrap, and the frontside 540-rodeo flip.

Tony Hawk's rise was synonymous with the ascent of skateboarding in the popular consciousness. He traveled the world competing and doing skating demos to raise awareness of the sport. However, during the early '90s, interest in skateboarding had waned, and times became lean.

With the creation of the Extreme Games (later X Games) in 1995, interest in skateboarding began to increase. Tony Hawk has won Gold at 10 X Games, Silver at three, and Bronze at two.

At the X Games in the summer of 1999, Hawk achieved what has become his most famous and legendary feat: Becoming the first skateboarder to ever successfully land a 900, which refers to the 900 degrees that the skateboarder revolves while in the air on a skateboard. It took him eleven tries, but he finally did it, claiming afterward "this is the best day of my life." More than 12 years later, Hawk was still able to land his signature trick, giving inspiration to people both inside and outside the world of skateboarding everywhere.

After completing the trip, Hawk decided to retire from competitive skating, though he has remained an active presence. In 2009, Hawk became the first person to gain official approval to skateboard on the grounds of the White House, having been invited to a Father's Day celebration by then-president Barack Obama. 2009 also saw Hawk inducted into the Skateboards Hall of Fame in its first-ever ceremony. Hawk was named by Transworld Skateboarding Magazine as the second most influential skateboarding in the world, behind Mark Gonzales, in December 2011.

In July 2021, Tony Hawk briefly came out of his competitive retirement to participate at the X Games' Vert Best Trick event and finished fourth place out of nine competitors.

Endorsements and Appearances

His net worth shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, given the large amount of products that bear Hawk's name. Even while skateboarding was not as popular, Hawk continued to gain success, starting skateboarding company Birdhouse, which produced boards and accessories, and a distribution company for skateboarding products called Blitz. Hawk Clothing was started in 1998, developing skating clothes for children.

In 1998, Hawk signed a deal with Activision for the video games series Tony Hawk Pro Skater. The game series released 18 different titles, reaching massive popularity. To date, the series has made more than $1.4 billion, making it one of the most successful video game series of all time.

In 2002, Hawk started Boom Boom HuckJam, a traveling sports show that was part live concert and part sporting event. The tour combined popular musical acts as well as performances among up and coming vert skaters and BMX riders.

Hawk has appeared in many movies and TV series including XXX, the entire Jackass: The Movie franchise, The Simpsons, The Masked Singer, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, and Nickelodeon's The Really Loud House.

Investments

Tony is an investor in over a dozen ventures including Birdhouse Skateboards, Hawk Clothing, and a production company called 900 films. Birdhouse is one of the most popular skateboard companies in the world today.

He was one of a handful of early investors in Blue Bottle Coffee which was acquired by Nestle in 2017 for $500 million.

Philanthropy

Hawk has always been eager to give back and give more people the opportunity to skate. In 2002, he created the Tony Hawk Foundation in an effort to combat the lack of safe and legal skateparks in the United States. The foundation has awarded over $5.8 million and has contributed to more than 596 skatepark projects across the country. The Tony Hawk Foundation changed its name to The Skatepark Project in 2020.

The foundation even received the Robert Wood Johnson Sports Award in 2015. This award honors its recipients for innovative and influential approaches in using sports to aid local communities.

Hawk was also a co-founder of Athletes for Hope, which hopes to inspire athletes to volunteer in their communities and support their programs that can really make a change.

In 2023, Hawk auctioned off a signed photograph of himself and Rick Thorne with 50% of proceeds going to the Tyre Nichols Memorial Fund. He plans to build a skatepark in Nichols' honor.

Personal Life

Hawk and Cindy Dunbar began dating in high school and were married in April 1990. They had a son together, Riley Hawk, in 1992. Riley followed in his father's footsteps and is also a skateboarder–he is sponsored by Lakai Limited Footwear and Baker Skateboards. Hawk and Dunbar divorced in 1994. Hawk and Erin Lee were married from 1996-2004. The couple had two sons, Spencer (b. 1999) and Keegan (b. 2001). Hawk and Lhotse Merriam were married from 2006-2011. They share one daughter, Kadence Clover Hawk, born in 2008. Hawk married Cathy Goodman on June 27, 2015, in Ireland. Hawk and his family reside in Encinitas, California.

In August 2016, it was reported that Tony Hawk purchased a century-old house in Detroit. His wife, Cathy, is originally from Detroit. The building was once a single-family home before it was used as a hospital and then converted into apartments.
